October Fest

There is so much to say about October! This is the time where it really starts to feel like fall, you have apple pie, crafts, pumpkin spice, and most of all there is Halloween! We did a lot during this month and here is a little snip bit of all our fun adventures!

Our first adventure was to Roba Farms with some friends. We enjoyed their pumpkin patch, animal races, and all their other fun festivities that they had for Halloween.

Next on our list was going down to Hershey Pennsylvania. The town is basically made out of chocolate and you can even just smell chocolate in the air! They have chocolate, an amusement park, museums, movies about chocolate, and more chocolate!

After getting a glimpse of what Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory would be like we decided to go see the Amish country.

In our play group we put together a Halloween carnival for the kiddies and they just loved it! We had a cupcake walk, pin the nose on the pumpkin, pumpkin toss, stories/songs about halloween, coloring, cookie decorating, and candy! Jackson really loves other little kids and has so much fun following them around! He also has a thing for older girls and is such a little flirt.

On actual Halloween Jackson was sick and we had to take him to the Dr. This ends up being his second ear infection.  Even though he was sick he was such a good little boy and was excited to pass out candy even though we got NO tricker-treaters. Our costume theme was that Scott was Petter Pan, I was Tinkerbell, and Jackson was a lost boy (the lost boys dress us as different animals). But mostly Jackson was a cute monkey. :) Jackson's moccasins that he is wearing were made by my grandpa for my brothers when they were little! (My mom and I found them this past summer in a box!)

I love that big bowl that you had your candy in.
Those moccasins are awesome! Your mom is the greatest thing ever! I love how much she saved from your guys' childhood. Awesome!
